The role encompasses the full strategic sourcing lifecycle from initial request through supplier evaluation and relationship management guided by the IBM Global Procurement Blue Book and company policies. Global Commodity Manager role for sourcing commodities
* Supplier management: Sourcing for new products and developing strategic relationships with them.
* Cost management: End to end supply chain cost negotiation and analysis for new products and volume production phase.
* Contract Management: Terms and conditions negotiation and maintenance.
* New Products: Collaboration with Development teams for IBM zSystems and Power Brands
