Graphic Artist / Designer for Laser Engraving at a Retail Awards Store

JOB DUTIES (including but not limited to): The Primary Job for this position is Laser Engraving Our Awards, from Trophies to Plaques to Acrylics. You will be able to use your Creativity in Designing and Laying out what will be Engraved on the Customers Awards based on their Desires.We will train you on how to use the Laser Engraver.We use CorelDraw to do all our Designing, and we will train you on that, but you must have some experience using some sort of Vector based Design Software. You will also help with Completing Orders for Banners and Signs, Building Trophies, Printing T-Shirts, & Stickers. When the Business dictates, you will also help in the Showroom, taking orders and waiting on Customers. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE MUST: 1. Know how to use Vector Based Design Software such as Corel Draw, Illustrator, etc. 2. Know how to Easily Search and Navigate the Internet 3. Be able to Communicate well both in Person and on the Phone 4. Have a Consistent Upbeat Attitude & Personality 5. Possess and Apply Common Sense within the Workplace 6. Keep a Clean Work Area 7. Be Available to Work Daytime Hours, Monday through Friday 8. Have Customer Service Experience with a Proper Business Demeanor at all Times 9. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. 10. Have Working knowledge of Basic Hand Tools 11. Know how to Measure and convert Fractions to Decimals This is currently a Part-Time Position (20 to 25 hours) withFull Time potential, that is Available IMMEDIATELY. The pay will start at $17 per hour, with the potential to move up to $18 per hour within the first year. There are no Medical Benefits with this position, and we are a Non-Smoking environment. We are located in the Southeast part of Las Vegas, (Windmill & Eastern) so we would prefer someone that lives within 10 miles of our location.
