Head Baker/Pastry Chef

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled head Baker/pastry Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a creative flair for baking. As a head Baker, you will be responsible for all the baking operation and management, ensuring that the recipes are followed keeping high-quality standards, clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties • Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, focaccia and cookies. • Decorate baked goods with artistic designs to meet customer specifications. • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. • Manage food handling processes to comply with health and safety regulations. • Assist in the production of baked goods for markets, hotels and other points of sales of our baked goods. • Package finished products for sale while maintaining quality standards. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry. • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. • Proficiency in baking techniques. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing time efficiently. • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods. • Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required. • Able to place orders and manage inventory, food cost, labor cost and sanitation up to standard Join us in crafting delightful baked treats that bring joy to our customers!
