Lead engineering to deliver delightful and remarkable customer experiences and accelerate the entire Superhuman mission. Lead our Engineering team to be the best in the industry.

Define our technology strategy.

• Collaborate with our founding and executive team notably product and design to define how technology can reinforce our competitive advantage and overall strategy.

• Define a clear and well-articulated technology strategy that unlocks focused delivery.

• Lead the execution of that strategy anticipate roadblocks and enable the team to succeed.

Serve on our executive team to define our future acts and achieve our vision: a productivity and collaboration ecosystem used by — and loved by — millions of professionals!

Ideal Qualifications

12+ years of professional experience with 8+ years of experience leading distributed engineering teams.

• Leader of leaders: Develops hires and retains high-performing leadership teams.

• Start-to-Finish Ownership: Acts with 100% responsibility for their outcomes as well as the outcomes of the company.

• Bias for action: Speed matters. Takes rapid and decisive steps forward even in the face of uncertainty recognizing action is the catalyst for progress and growth.

• Async Communicator. Communicates effectively across various mediums (especially Slack notion and email). Can produce and consume detailed written materials as needed without sacrificing speed.

• Cares deeply challenges directly: Discusses and debates ideas openly. Focuses on the customer and business ‘so what’ and challenges stakeholders to take impactful action.

• Delivers remarkable quality at scale: Leads organizations to deliver remarkable quality experiences to millions of customers.

• Change Agent: Evolves organizational structure processes and culture from 50 to 100+; experience with globally distributed engineering teams.

• Technology Strategist: Oversees complex technical deployments in mission-critical environments.

SALARY 💸

The Head of Engineering role may span a range of experience and expertise. During our interview process we will review your background and local market data and use a mix of technical and qualitative assessments to determine where you fall in our range. We will discuss compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization.

Our starting salaries for this role range from $300000-$350000.  The salary range does not reflect total compensation which includes base salary an Executive Team Bonus benefits and company stock options.
