Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and a passion for providing exceptional service. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and systems. • Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Conduct field service visits to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions. • Collaborate with construction teams for HVAC design integration in new builds. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. • Repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units. • Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment maintenance. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties. Qualifications • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. • Familiarity with air conditioning systems, refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair. • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. • Experience in property maintenance or construction is preferred. • Welding skills are a plus for equipment modifications or repairs. • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
