High Performance Computing Engineer

You can be located in NY, NJ or Washington DC
High-Performance Computing (HPC) is seeking an experienced Research Solution Engineer to complement our growing HPC team. This exciting position will join a team of experienced engineers, architects, and application specialists working towards very challenging goals in curing cancer. You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and support world-leading researchers. Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Research Technology, the HPC Engineer will provide support for a complex multi-datacenter high performance computing system.
 
You Will!

• Support day-to-day operations of large-scale parallel file systems
• Deploy and Maintain Linux HPC infrastructure across multiple data centers
• Assist HPC engineers and architects with day-to-day operations and tickets

You Have!

• Experience working in a large-scale research-based HPC environment
• Proven experience working with distributed file storage solutions (i.e., GPFS)
• Experience with deploying and troubleshooting Linux Operating Systems (RHEL/CentOS)
• Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Python, Shell Scripting)
• Solid understanding of job schedulers (LSF/SLURM)
• Experience with GPU-based compute infrastructure (including CUDA)
