TheHome CareRegistered NurseorNurse Practitionerprovides and directs the provision of home nursing care, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process. Collaborates closely with all disciplines to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with plan of care.Home Care Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitionermaintains clinical records in accordance with New York State and Federal regulations, and Home Care policy. Supports organizations mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards, and obtaining appropriate certification. Formal education required: Associates degree in nursing; B.S.N. preferred. Holds a validRegistered Nursing license or Nurse Practitioner Licenseto practice in New York State. Previous experience required: Minimum of one year of nursing experience in pediatrics Home care experience preferred.
