Why Aggreko?Here and some of the perks and rewards. • Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends • Pay rate $36.00 to $45.00 an hour • Annual bonus program • No premium cost medical plan option available • Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more • Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available, safety-focused culture working on brand new technology What you'll do: • You'll be based out of ourPearland, TXservice center and can expect to work in the field with up to 50 to 75%% travel. • Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD's, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries. • Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding. • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. • Periodically inspect equipment, and locate and correct problems before breakdowns occur • Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment. We're Experts,which means you'll have the following skills and experience: • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training • Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design • 8+ years of formal technical training • 10+ years' experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear. Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters • Positive, self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality • Valid driver's license • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
