Energo, a leading provider of energy supply, energy efficiency, and HVAC service to residential and commercial properties, is seeking a positive, goal-orientedProject Managerto oversee our installations, from inception to completion. Our Installations Department is an integral part of our organization. Please visit our website for more information on Energo: https://energo.com/ This position is based out of our Woodside, NY office, and reports to our Vice President of Mechanical Services. This individual will be responsible for sales, operations, and the profit/loss of all installations, and must have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and profit goals. The role will provide you with significant autonomy along with organizational support to help you succeed. This position’s top priorities are to manage and increase the profitability of our installations department and manage existing business, cultivate new customers, improve customer experience, improve skills of assigned technicians and ensure optimum use of staffing and equipment. Duties Include: β€’ Identify bid opportunities, review all bidding documents, plans, schedules, and budgets to establish a complete understanding of the project scope of work β€’ Prepare bid packages and prepare estimates for jobs β€’ Prepare, maintain and update project schedules β€’ Execute installations according to construction documents (drawings, specs, manuals) β€’ Work to obtain and track all permits and signoffs for projects β€’ Schedule and oversee installation crews and subcontractors to complete contracted work β€’ Periodically attend job walkthroughs β€’ Track project budgets on both labor and materials to ensure project is completed within budget β€’ Manage contract scope and track all items related to the contract, ensuring their completion β€’ Estimate change orders for active projects and work with the customer for approvals β€’ Work with vendors and suppliers to procure the appropriate equipment and subcontracted services to ensure that all conditions of contract documents are identified and accounted for β€’ Attend site meetings with Architects, Customers, Engineers, and/or City Agencies, as needed β€’ Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all parties involved in the project β€’ Train customers in equipment operation upon completion of project β€’ Maintain spreadsheets and tracking logs for all projects β€’ Estimate change orders for active projects β€’ Assist in purchasing and procurement β€’ Effective supervision of Installations staff β€’ Develop additional business opportunities and improve our proposal closing rate β€’ Manage credit exposure and collections β€’ Ensure safe work environment Required Experience β€’ Minimum five (5) years of experience in mechanical and HVAC installations β€’ In-depth knowledge of boilers and heating systems in the following areas: Steam heating systems, hydronic heating systems, domestic hot water heating systems, pumps, gas and fuel oil systems, mechanical code, plumbing, and basic electrical β€’ In-depth knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems β€’ Preferred but not required: Experience with Cogeneration (CHP) and Chillers β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required β€’ Must be detail oriented, a team player and have excellent follow-up skills β€’ Must have effective written/oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills β€’ Comfortably making decisions daily to ensure the success of the project and make sure timelines are met Benefits: β€’ 401(k) with matching β€’ Dental insurance β€’ Health insurance β€’ Health reimbursement account β€’ Paid time off β€’ Vision insurance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: β€’ 401(k) β€’ 401(k) matching β€’ Dental insurance β€’ Health insurance β€’ Life insurance β€’ Paid time off β€’ Vision insurance Experience: β€’ HVAC: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: β€’ Woodside, NY 11377 (Required) Ability to Relocate: β€’ Woodside, NY 11377: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
