Job Description
We are a leading mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance across the New York Tri-State area. We are looking for an HVAC Sales Development Representative to join our team. This role is crucial for expanding our commercial client base. You will be the primary point of contact for businesses, identifying and qualifying leads for HVAC system installations, repairs, and maintenance contracts. The priority is to present our company to prospective clients and outline how we can partner with them for all their HVAC support.
Description:
• Proactively research and identify potential commercial clients, including property managers, facility directors, and business owners.
• Conduct strategic cold calling and email campaigns to generate new business leads within our target markets.
• Visit prospective clients to introduce the company and inform them of our services, make qualifying presentations to new prospects for the purpose of identifying customer needs, wants, problems and potential problems.
• Engage with business contacts to understand their HVAC infrastructure, current challenges, and future needs.
• Secure and schedule qualified appointments for our senior sales engineers and account managers to discuss solutions.
• Attend meetings, trade shows, seminars and other training and networking events as required or requested.
• Accurately track all lead activities and communications, following up with the potential client and our team to ensure proper communication
Qualification:
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a business-to-business sales or lead generation role, HVAC experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident demeanor. You must be comfortable speaking with business leaders and decision-makers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets for lead generation and appointment setting.
• Ability to travel between potential client locations.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Compensation:
