HVAC Service Technician- LEAD EXPERIENCE- SIGN ON BONUS

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems. This role involves maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Service Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards. We service an approximate 10 mile service radius from our shop, conveniently located in Des Plaines, right near O'Hare airport. Duties • Repair HVAC systems according to specifications. • Read HVAC wiring diagrams, and interact with manufacturer tech-support. • Perform routine and seasonal maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper operation. • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment as needed. Charge accordingly. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. • Follow all procedures using our best-in-class Field Service Management software. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Present options and upselling and Safety, Performance, and Comfort improvements. • Convert new customers to Memberships. • Communicate next-steps clearly to customers and office support staff for Follow-Ups. • Convert Opportunities and meet KPIs for industry. • Drive company van to job sites while ensuring safe transportation of tools and equipment. • Deliver a consistent 5 star experience! Qualifications • Proven experience as an HVAC Service or similar role in the field service industry.Minimum 3 years. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience preferred. Great driving record is required! • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Commitment and adherence to safety practices in all aspects of work. • EPA Certification.
