HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort for our clients. The technician will work on various equipment, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems, while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration units. • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues within HVAC equipment. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. • Diagnose malfunctions in heating and cooling systems and implement effective solutions. • Conduct equipment repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in residential or commercial settings. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components. • Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics and repairs. • Ability to plumb and refrigerate various types of HVAC equipment effectively. • Experience with welding techniques is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
