IAM Senior Sailpoint Development Engineer

National Grid is seeking an innovative, and experienced IAM Senior SailPoint Development Engineer to join their IAM SailPoint Engineering team! As IAM Senior SailPoint Development Engineer you will be the primary technical resource for the design, development, and integration of IAM platforms to various IT systems. You will also be key to the gathering of technical requirements, formulating solutions, implementing and supporting these solutions.

Working in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients' IAM/IGA applications as IAM Senior Sailpoint Development Engineer you will:

• Perform discovery and requirements gathering from IT and business areas and use this information to design and architect IAM solutions
• Perform validation, integration and user acceptance testing on IAM systems
• Analyze and troubleshooting issues in complex, interconnected IT systems
• Lead, mentor and train IAM team members and end-users of the IAM systems
• Develop security metrics definition and delivery
• Participate in the organization's incident response process
• Perform software upgrades, updates and patches as needed
• Maintain, integrate and configure one or more IAM products such as SailPoint
• Create technical change requests (CRs) to support changes and upgrades to IAM solutions
• Manage and update IGA runbooks and process documentation
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a Sailpoint Engineer/Administrator
• Proven experience in Sailpoint IIQ Java Beans, Java Development, SSB
• Experience integrating with LDAP, Active Directory, Azure AD, ServiceNow integrations
• Experience with Software version control tools like Git or BitBucket
• Experience in deploying Sailpoint code to multiple environments
• Experience with development work for Application onboarding using OOTB, JDBC, Webservices and custom connectors
• Experience Defining Rules, Provisioning policies, RBAC profiles, Segregation of Duties (SoD) and scoping IAM Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills to independently resolve communication and systems issues
• A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail that thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Innovative, analytical and driven

Salary

New England: $124,000 to $175,000 a year
Upstate New York: $111,000 to $157,000 a year
Downstate New York: $133,000 to $188,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience and location

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
