We are looking for a seasoned Maximo Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise asset management solutions using IBM Maximo. This role requires deep technical expertise strategic thinking and hands-on experience with Maximo architecture integrations and customizations. You will play a key role in ensuring system performance scalability and alignment with business objectives.
In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Architect in IBM Consulting you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Maximo architecture covering infrastructure integrations and customizations
- Lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance on Maximo best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation including architecture diagrams and technical specifications
- Ensure optimal system performance security and scalability across Maximo environments
- Support implementation upgrades and troubleshooting of Maximo systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
- Proven experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management (version 7.x or MAS)
- Strong understanding of Maximo architecture BIRT reporting and integration frameworks such as REST SOAP and MIF
- Proficiency in Java SQL and Maximo configuration/customization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in leading Maximo implementations or upgrades
- Familiarity with performance tuning and security best practices in Maximo environments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools relevant to Maximo deployments
- Exposure to cloud-based Maximo solutions or hybrid architectures
