Introduction
A Technical Sales Specialis role within IBM zStack will make you a key enabler to how our clients are building modern hybrid cloud solutions and modernizing their applications whilst embedding AI into all transactions and operations. Your Role and Responsibilities

Applying excellent communication and empathy you’ll act as a trusted strategic advisor to some of the world’s most transformational enterprises and culturally influential brands as they rely on your expertise and our technology to solve some of their hardest problems.

With your focus on the front-end of the solution lifecycle you’ll be a master at listening to stakeholders grasping their business challenges and requirements and forming more detailed definitions of new architectural structures that will make up their best-fit value adding solutions.

• Execute Technical Accelerators such as: presentation demonstration client discovery workshops Pilots

• Engage deployment team to review key deployment milestones architecture & design installation and production setup.

• Validate proposed client solution and customer requirements as technical subject matter expert.

• Support sales team on prospect customer conference calls and onsite visits.

• Lead technical response to Request for Proposal and Request For Information (RFI) by writing clear responses to commonly asked questions and gathering answers from other internal technical experts.

• Support business partner teams by participating in technical calls and meetings with prospective customers

• Actively use social media channels to reach out to business connections blog and spread platform news across the network.

• Organize regional roadshows with substantial topics and agenda resonating with the target audience.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Understanding of application development tools and languages on IBM zSystems.
  • Technical consulting/Technical sales/ Technical Architecture experience in application development testing and deployment.
  • Consultative skills and successful industry solution and architecture project implementation experience.
  • Experience working with international clients


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Working experience on IBM zSystems platform.
  • Experience within z/OS environment and its subsystems and tools.
