Industry Architect - New AI Cybersecurity Concept

About the Role

Red Cell is seeking an Industry Architect who will be the technical lead on a new cybersecurity concept with a path to be the future technical founder if the idea is funded by Red Cell.

This is a rare opportunity to build a company from zero backed by experienced operators advisors and early capital.

Working closely with the Cyber Practice engineering team and CPTO this role will shape the company’s product and GTM strategy by proposing innovative and differentiated opportunities based on market gaps and technological capabilities. The ideal person thrives in ambiguity enjoys investigating emerging technologies and is passionate about protecting AI systems and applications from AI-specific threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies at the frontier of AI security to identify novel product approaches.

• Collaborate with engineering to develop and test MVPs in-market iterating based on customer feedback and market insights.

• Support the development of product roadmap development and go-to-market strategies.

• Track competitive solutions positioning and market movements.

• Prepare white papers proposals and other materials for funding opportunities.

• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Engage prospective customers to uncover unmet needs and gaps in the current vendor eco-system.

• Conduct primary and secondary research to validate product-market fit.

About You

• Entrepreneurial mindset: scrappy resourceful and biased toward action

• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML systems end-to-end.

• Experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch TensorFlow etc.) and MLOps tools.

• Fluency in cloud-native development (AWS/GCP) containerization and scalable backend systems.

• Strong product intuition and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.

• Exceptional research analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical and market data into clear actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Bonus Points

• A deep understanding of AI security threats including adversarial attacks model poisoning prompt injection data exfiltration and other AI-specific vulnerabilities.

• Awareness of current AI security solutions frameworks and industry best practices.

• Strong network within AI security cybersecurity or ML research communities.

Salary Range: $250000-$300000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience skills and other factors.
