Responsibilities:
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Conduct analysis, investigate, and recommend security technologies and process improvements
• Participate in analyzing asset risk and risk management processes, identify acceptable levels of risk, and implement risk treatment options
• Maintain information security documentation, policies, and procedures as needed and required for compliance
• Implement processes and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards
• Maintain awareness of existing and proposed industry practices or standards, security trends and issues, and advise the organization on security issues affecting the company in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor and maintain a vendor risk management system, requesting supporting evidence and making risk evaluations
• Monitor and maintain a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and risk management program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by the organization
• Work with all appropriate departments to ensure change management operations are being maintained as they relate to IT or information security
Qualifications:
• 3+ years implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security controls within a recognized information security framework
• 3 - 7 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs preferably in the manufacturing, healthcare, or similar industries
•
Must have Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with HiTrust implementation experience
• Experience implementing or maintaining anISO 27001:2022Information Security Management System
• Working knowledge of IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, and other security-related technologies
• Must have working experience implementing and maintaining NIST 800-53 security controls
• Preferred working experience implementing and maintaining HiTRUST security controls
• BA/BS degree a plus
• CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional) orCISA(Certified Information Security Auditor) a plus
