What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a motivated and experienced virtual infrastructure - Network Engineer to join our Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) team at Norfolk VA.

This is a hybrid work environment assignment in which the selected candidate will be required to work on-site at least one day per work week and must reside within the local commuting distance (80 miles) to Naval Station Norfolk, VA.

We are seeking an engineer who has experience in designing, maintaining, and upgrading vSphere systems supporting software developers in a DOD environment. The selected engineer will employ a DevOps mind set approach in the deployment and maintenance of solutions in a Government Cloud development and production environments. This is a VMware vSphere centric environment therefore you will be responsible for designing and building VMware systems as well as maintaining and upgrading existing systems. This engineer will be responsible for deploying and maintaining services on RHEL 7 and RHEL 8 servers. We're seeking an engineer who has knowledge of and experience in employing the concepts of software-defined storage and data services software. The selected engineer for this position should also have knowledge of and experience in the employment of software-defined networking solutions. We're seeking an engineer whose level of knowledge and experience extends to Implementing and maintaining SAN and NAS (to include Veeam Backup & Replication) within a VMware topology environment.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• US Citizen.
• Must have a secret clearance or be able to obtain an interim secret clearance and be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP or related).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 8 years + of related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in engineering and maintaining vSphere systems to include ESXi and vCenter Server version 6.7 and 7.0.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in designing and building VMware systems as well as maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in deploying and maintaining services on RHEL 7 and RHEL 8 servers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in implementing and maintaining SAN and NAS solutions within a VMware topology.
• Demonstrated a moderate level of understanding of networking concepts with an emphasis on vLANs, Routers, etc. as they pertain to VMware based solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in DISA STIG implementation and configuration validation

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in deploying and maintaining Government Cloud development and production environments.
• Knowledge of or experience in managing development and production environment within Navy Data Centers
• Experience in the use of Veeam backup and recovery
• Knowledge of or experience in the use of Cisco ACI
• Knowledge of or experience in the use Cisco HyperFlex
• Knowledge of or experience in the use DellEMC Unity devices
• Experience with vSAN is considered a plus
