The SQL Developer for Global Security Analytics Intern will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining an SQL database to support ETL processes for the Global Security Analytics team.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, ensure data integrity, and optimize database performance.
• Support the implementation of best practices in database management and data security to align with organizational standards.

Desired Skills/Interests:

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design, development, and maintenance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to gather requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Knowledge of optimizing database performance and implementing best practices in database management.
• Understanding of data security measures to align with organizational standards.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, based out of our Cary, NC location.
About the MetLife Team: This role is within the Global Technology Organization (GTO) on the Data & Analytics Team.

• The Data and Analytics Team works to protect MetLife and customer data ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and assets while preventing data exfiltration, manipulation and destruction by cyber threats and incidents
