The Integration Developer provides excellent customer service by assisting with implementing solutions, maintaining and supporting the integrations between the assigned applications. Integration Developers study the organization’s current information systems and procedures and design integrations solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. Integration Developers bring business and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both. Integration Developers work to build, perform build validation and collaborate with subject matter experts to design and provide input for configuration for interfaces.
License /Certification Required:Must have one active certification that meets management approval. If one certification is not on file, must have at least five years progressively responsible experience as an Application Analyst or equivalent, and must obtain the one certifications within one year of hire/transfer.; Must obtain one additional certification as assigned by manager within one year of hire/transfer (or if the required certifications are not on file, one additional year after above). Preferred:N/A Education Required:High School diploma or equivalent Preferred:Associate’s degree Testing N/A Experience Required:At least three years of experience as an Application Analyst or equivalent. Experience working on projects using standard project management skills, tools and methodologies. Experience implementing and supporting Clinical/Hospital reporting applications or Human Resource/Financial reporting applications. Experience designing, developing, maintaining and supporting interfaces and databases in a complex environment. Preferred:Interface experience with Cerner or Infor applications. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Able to program in the following computer languages and development tools: RPGIII, C/L, TCL. Working knowledge of the following interface engines: Healthcare.com Cloverleaf -Level II, Seimens OpenLink -Level I (Base Services) & Level II (Toolkit). Working knowledge of HL7 standards. Working knowledge of networking communication protocols including (TCP/IP) (FTP). Monitoring/Installing/Viewing/Accessing the following items:Interface Engine- monitor and make adjustments as needed (Cloverleaf and Openlink Interface Engines) Protocol- ability to setup and determine that TCP/IP is running (i.e. ping another service) and to know where to obtain IP addresses. Ability to setup and run FTP processes. Ability to troubleshoot the following items:Interface Engine- ability to troubleshoot problems within Cloverleaf and Openlink Interface Engines Protocol- ability to determine and resolve TCP/IP problems. Ability to determine and resolve FTP problems. Department Specific Requirements N/A Essential Designs and develops ETL (extract, transform, load) transformations and mappings from a variety of data formats and structures into enterprise-scale databases. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers to help with the project development activities related to data integration as a key member of the Integration Team. Works closely with the stakeholders to understand customer requirements. Works with the Sr Integration Developer on projects delivering fully automated ETL applications for production use. Assists the Sr Integration Developer with processing and maintenance SFTP functionality between client and company for inbound data. Follows existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts. Assists the Sr Integration Developer with performing maintenance and enhancements to the integration applications (interface engine) and databases. Performs technical analysis and data mining for integration requests from internal and external sources. Communicates with customers for any issues/enhancements associated with inbound/outbound data feeds. Creates and maintains interfaces between applications systems using integration applications (Interface Engines). Maintains documentation and process flow of all interfaces. Makes recommendations in setting up process standards, policies and procedures in interface design, development, implementation and maintenance. Project Expectations:Ensures project tasks are clearly outlined with start and end dates within the ISS approved solution. Ensures that the completion of project tasks is on time and helps with issues resolution. Clearly communicates when there is a potential missed deadline and ensure managers, project managers, directors and end users are all aware of a potential missed deadline. Ensures that time is tracked on project tasks within the ISS approved solution. Ticketing solution expectations:Facilitates the resolution of application errors within the ISS approved SLA (Service Level Agreement). Maintains issue resolution documentation within the ISS approved helpdesk ticketing solution. Keeps tickets updated within SLA requirements. Maintains time worked on tickets and within the ISS approved helpdesk ticketing solution. Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by constant communication and helping solve problems. Maintains a low number of assigned issues in the ticket queue. Performs on-call support services to provide the hospital with 24x7 support by a call rotation. Protects confidential information. Addendum (essential for specific dept) Additional Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range
$37.42 -$56.14
