Finary is a hybrid remote company. Our talented team is currently based in France and across Europe. Our office is located in the heart of Paris and we organize on-sites every 6 weeks.

Compliance at Finary

Finary is a French regulated entity: DASP CIF (Conseiller en Investissements Financiers) and COA (Courtier en Assurance). This means we must maintain solid regulatory compliance and navigate evolving and complex legal requirements.

Such complexity requires skilled individuals responsible for the creation and maintenance of the compliance function especially it’s internal control framework and risk management functions this is an essentiel key to our success and the individual selected for this role will have the opportunity to create and lead this function.

About the role

Your manager will be Florimon our Senior Compliance Officer . You will focus on 2 key functions :

• Internal control

  • Second line controls : Build the second-level control plan and execute second-level control missions from A to Z.

  • Perform second-level controls : Perform controls prepare and present reports; Prepare and monitor various audits (internal/external).

  • Monitor resolution and remediation plan : From second level controls or external participants (auditors regulators…)

• Risk management

  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the risk mapping process .

  • Operational risk management: Participating in the annual risk mapping evaluation campaign contributing to updates of the risk appetite framework addressing operational incidents.

  • Third party providers monitoring : Facilitating and overseeing the third party monitoring including updating the registry ensuring the respect of agreed SLA and good relationship with providers.

You’d be a great fit if you

• have 4+ years in a either internal control risk managent compliance or legal related position in a fast-paced environment

• have an experience working with an investment firm or a regulated crypto exchange

• know how to manage regulatory expectations such as : the Arrêté du 03/11/2014 the Code Monétaire et Financier GDPR and associated publications (ACPR EBA ESMA TRACFIN)

• know what COSO DSP 3 DORA Travel rule and AI mean and have a passion for story telling to share a strong compliance culture across the business

• are a diplomat and able to convince others while listening to them

• autonomous have a strong attention to details and lead initiatives

• are native in French with impeccable grammar & fluent in English
