Position Summary:

Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for WARN products in the assigned region through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for ensuring that competent service and support is readily available for any WARN customer within the assigned region.
  2. Annually develop and execute a sales plan for the assigned region in support of the zone business plan and the company's strategic plan. Sales plan to include means of measuring success.
  3. Develops and manages expense budgets for the region.
  4. Manages accounts in accordance with the WARN sales policy.
  5. Perform data analysis and acquisition for customer performance measures.
  6. May manage independent representatives as required by territory.
  7. Work closely with fellow zone manager in developing customer and account strategies and tactics.
  8. Recommend performance measures and sales opportunities to zone manager.
  9. Extensively travel (40% or more) to customer locations, trade shows or events in assigned region.
  10. Conduct business at all times in accordance with the WARN's Core Values - Honesty, Listen to Customers, Commitment, Teamwork, Personal Development & Lead by Example.
  11. May participate in WARN's selection process as necessary.
  12. Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
  13. Accountable for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in assigned area. Responsible for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including a self-assessment and report to management.
  14. Accountable for developing and monitoring processes and practices necessary for legal and ethical compliance in assigned area.
  15. Work safely and without injury.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  2. Up to five years experience in sales and marketing management, preferably with an automotive or technical consumer products company is required.
  3. Experience with two-tier distribution systems and knowledge of international commerce is desired.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated ability in product presentation and technical selling.
  2. Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
  3. Must be computer literate. Must be competent using Microsoft Office products. Ability to create and use PowerPoint presentations is preferred.
  4. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  5. Must be able to work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation.
  6. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and visitors.
  8. Ability to effectively problem-solve.
  9. Proven customer service skills at an outstanding level in a professional environment such as sales.
  10. Ability to facilitate activities necessary to a project's completion.

  12. Must have history of impeccable integrity, ethics and fair play.
