Investment Manager to work closely with 2K’s business development and operations teams to provide analysis and recommendations around new business development, M&A, and commercial activities. The position will lead build vs buy analysis for many projects at 2K.

The ideal person will have worked with companies to define strategies that drive the growth of a consumer product or service. They will combine meticulous market and performance analysis alongside the formulation of creative short-to-long-term strategies and strive to see them implemented.

• Collaborates with 2K’s President, COO, Product Team, and Director of Investments & Label Strategy to formulate and implement on 2K’s growth strategy
• Support our diverse set of products by evaluating existing and upcoming opportunities for strategic and portfolio fit
• Performs and then communicates meticulous quantitative and qualitative assessments to help advise significant strategic and operating decisions across the business
• Translates complex analytical data into presentations that can be understood and acted upon by partners
• Creates frameworks and analyses to answer complex build vs buy analyses and can lead execution of the chosen path forward
• Creates and updates financial models that will support the assessment and valuation of potential acquisitions and investment targets.
• Conducts research on the industry, market trends, and competitors to remain abreast of and communicate developments that could affect our strategy; recommends strategy shifts and identifies emerging opportunities

• 3 - 5 years in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, and/or corporate strategy or corporate development experience
• Strong background in carefully screening, analyzing, and implementing successful acquisitions and partnerships
• Skill in creating analytical frameworks and other decision-making tools to approach and solve strategic business problems.
• Understanding of the broad digital media landscape and games industry, with a demonstrated passion for gaming
• Expertise in building financial/operating models and a thorough understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, Precedent Transactions, Public Trading Comparable, SOTP, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills and proactive ability to maintain relationships and influence/persuade others.
