Rare opportunity due to the retirement of a long-time PA!  Walk in and hit the ground running with a stable and supportive ER team at one of Iowa's most financially secure health systems!  Work alongside board-certified, residency-trained ER docs that allow you all the autonomy you're used to!  Our PA's take patients round-robin with our docs.... so you are REALLY part of the team, not just getting the easier/urgent care/fast track cases... you get to see it all!    You'll also find experienced and stable nursing and support staff to ensure a smooth transition into your new role!

Position Details:

• Work an average of twelve, 12hr shifts per month.  Fair mix of shifts 8a - 8p,10a - 10p and 1p - 1a
  

• 30 bed ED with an avg of 100 visits per day 
• Level III trauma center
• Excellent mix of pathology and plenty of interesting cases!

• Work alongside experienced PA's and physicians during all shifts... never on your own.

• Excellent work-life balance

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience as a PA in Emergency Medicine

• A team-first mindset and strong communication skills

• Someone who takes ownership of their practice and contributes to the team’s growth

• Comfort with autonomy and a passion for helping to develop and expand a growing service line.
