Job Description
LST is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Program Manager to manage implementation of electronics onto Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) owned aircraft. This position would support the FAA Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Flight Operations organization at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage AJF's implementation of the Collins ARINC Flight Operations System (FOS) for part 135 operations, including electronic crewmember recordkeeping, document management, and flight scheduling, planning, authorization, release and arrival.
- Coordinate FOS interface with other Flight Operations systems
- Establish and maintain FOS user accounts, permissions, and access. Coordinate and enter personnel, aircraft, and other records. Coordinate user support and training.
- Develop business rules surrounding the use of FOS.
- Coordinate infrastructure security requirements and documentation with FAA IT and ATO.
- Manage technical, cost, and schedule tasks to ensure all project requirements are met.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing IT based programs preferably in an aviation environment.
- Applied knowledge in IT systems or services.
- Must have at least 15 years of experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent project or program management certification is desired.
- Position located in Oklahoma City, OK
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
