Databricks is hiring an experienced IT Systems Administrator to help scale and optimize our business processes and project IT Support infrastructure as the company continues its hyper-growth. You will be a key member of the IT Support team to build out governance, best practices and automation for our IT support and ITSM systems.

The IT Systems Administrator will be a member of the IT Support team and will be responsible for working with users to improve productivity by resolving technical issues and improving the overall user experience. The expectation for this position is that you will apply deep troubleshooting skills and analysis, setting the bar for providing capabilities facilitating exceptional customer interactions to all Brickster's through tickets, systems, AV, and other mediums of engagement. You will report to the Manager, IT Support as part of the CIO's org.

The impact you will have:

• You will take ownership of customer issues escalations as a member of the Tier 2 IT support staff applying your understanding of systems within your scope of ownership.
• Document all processes, and update/improve current documentation of previously established processes
• Own medium (typically multi-week) deliverables in predefined work through sprints in conjunction with Corporate Engineering projects.
• Work collaboratively across IT and serve as an ambassador for the IT organization with our internal stakeholders
• You will drive governance and hygiene standards for IT support systems ensuring environments are performant, purpose optimized and consistent environments for all teams.
• You will design and implement solutions that improve business process automation and improve overall user experiences and time to resolution for the user community.
• You will be responsible for the overall health and availability of all IT support systems
• You will collaborate with Corporate Engineering and contribute to technical integrations between IT support systems and external cloud systems.

What we look for:

• 5+ years of experience or related experience in administering, maintaining and managing ITSM systems and related tools
• Experience supporting customer IT needs as part of a global team supporting multiple regions and time zones
• In-depth knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on macOS, Chrome OS, Windows 10, and SaaS applications.
• Strong hands-on technical skills. Can drill deep into SaaS application configurations and advance troubleshooting on macOS, Chrome OS, Windows 10
• Work with cross-functional partners to find deficiencies and implement improvements to our systems
• Experience provisioning SaaS applications in Okta
• Working knowledge of systems such as JAMF, Airwatch, and InTune; proficiency in using those applications in the management and securing of endpoints
• Identify and provide solutions to reduce tickets and ticket times
• A strong candidate demonstrates a solid track record of delivering outcomes
• Ideally have strong hands-on technical skills and experience with basic networking, linux and server infrastructure.
