Title: Janitor Classification: Full-Time/Non-Exempt Reports to: Operations Manager Type of Role: On-site Overview:The Janitor Associate plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized environment in a fast-paced workplace. This position requires attention to detail, time management, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Join us in building a company that you and your family can take pride in being a part of Responsibilities: • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. • Supply and clean restrooms. • Clean windows and mirrors. • Remove waste and empty trash. • Organize janitorial storage areas. • Maintain cleaning chart. • Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies. • Observe safety and security procedures. Skill Requirements: • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. • Ability to positively interact and contribute to a team environment. • Able to work overtime and Saturday mornings. • Knowledge of standardized procedures for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment is important. This includes using EPA-approved disinfectants, following product instructions, and maintaining cleaning tools. • Adhering to safety measures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. • Efficiently managing time to complete tasks within the given timeframe Education and/or Experience Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED • Forklift certification preferred but not required Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand on two feet, walk, twist, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more a day). • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
