Janitor/Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We have 4 locations in the Bay Area, 2 in San Jose, 1 in Milpitas, and 1 in Sunnyvale. We are looking for a cleaner to come out once a week to deep clean all the stores. Duties • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness in all areas. • Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and facilities are hygienic. • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. • Assist with custodial tasks in both commercial and residential settings as needed. • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues promptly. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishment when necessary. • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Experience • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. • Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is advantageous. • Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. • Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks is beneficial for supporting overall facility upkeep. • Porter experience can be helpful in understanding the flow of operations within various settings.
