Janitor/Yardperson

A. POSITION PURPOSE: Maintain facility housekeeping, offices, cafeteria and restrooms B. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Sweeping/Mopping floors • Empty trash cans • Restroom housekeeping-clean basin, toilets, urinals, walls, mop floors, etc. • Maintain janitorial supplies • Clean plant floors using sweeper equipment • Maintain facility grounds by clearing walks, sweeping, etc. • Compact restroom and cafeteria trash • Maintain cafeteria (vending area) and other break areas-floors, tables, sink etc. • Assist in hazardous waste clean-up • Other related tasks as assigned by supervisor • All other duties as assigned C.
