Job Captain - woodworking

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and construction, with the ability to perform various tasks related to installation, restoration, and maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Duties • Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures • Work as an assistant partner with the Project Manager • Autocad drafting • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, ensuring that all work is plumb and meets project specifications. • Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols. • Assist in metal stud framing as needed for various projects. • Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs and adjustments as required. Requirements • Proven experience in woodworking is essential. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work. • AutoCAD drafting experience • Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • A valid driver's license Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Experience: • job captain: 5 years (Preferred) • woodworking: 5 years (Preferred) • AutoCAD: 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • Jackson Heights, NY 11372: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
