Supervising Pharmacist

Job Summary We at Major Pharmacy are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacology, patient assessment, and the ability to administer medications in various settings. Duties • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. • Provide medication counseling to patients, including information on proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions. • Collaborate with healthcare providers in critical care and acute care settings to manage complex medication regimens. • Conduct medication management reviews to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients. • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards. • Must know micro merchant system Qualifications • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. • Completion of a pharmacy residency is preferred but not mandatory.
