Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of construction plumbing, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in both hand and power tools. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively in various settings. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. • Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems. • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all plumbing work. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. • Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed throughout the job site. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. • Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and techniques. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job tasks. • Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
