Junior Electrical Estimator (Will Train an Electrician!)

You Are: • A field electrician or Journeyman looking to get into estimating! You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a team along with direct client interaction. You love construction and are passionate about the creation of homes that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal. You Have: • Knowledge of the electrical industry with a deep understanding of materials, labor costs, and project management. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ. Your Location: • In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid) • 1300 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070 Your Schedule: • Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm Your Contribution to Regent5 (What we'll teach you to do!): • Cost Estimation: Analyze plans, specs, and other docs to help prepare estimates for electrical projects. • Project Analysis: Conduct site visits and work with architects, designers, subcontractors and clients to understand project requirements and specs • Learn to use software such as Salesforce, Bluebeam, AutoCAD • Bid Preparation: Develop/issue RFPs to subcontractors and suppliers then analyze bids to ensure competitiveness and alignment • Scope of Work: Document and create for project proposals • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, PMs, architects, and clients throughout the project lifecycle to communicate estimates and budget updates. • Sales Coordination: Scheduling, Proposal Creation/Tracking, Project Folders, CRM Status, Follow-up What Makes You Successful (But will teach to the right person): • Strong knowledge of electrical (NEC), construction, and cost analysis • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines • Strong understanding of project timelines, customer communication, & bidding process • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Regent5's Contribution to You: • $80k to $100k (Based on Experience) • 401k w/ 3% match • Medical/Dental/Vision (50% coverage for employee & dependents) • 6 Paid Holidays • PTO - 10 days (more as you stay!) • Employee Discount About Regent5 A premier electronics design and integration firm, widely respected for its expertise in delivering sophisticated automation systems for upscale residential and commercial environments.
