Playtech‘s Development unit is looking for a proactive Junior QA Engineer with huge ambition to develop their troubleshooting and automation skills.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Test Desktop, Mobile and Web applications - including functional and non-functional testing
• Test Client-Server communication
• Communicate with developers on daily basis in order to solve general issues
• Report and track defects status in the bug-tracking system
• Participate in development design meetings and discussions with Product Owners
• Participate in daily meetings
• Analyze and understand the product requirements and also applying them in the test scopes
• Maintain test environments
• Create and execute Test plans for projects
• Check Automation Tests Results on daily basis

Qualifications

• Are highly motivated, ambitious to learn new things, and focused on getting things done
• Have a good understanding of the main testing methodologies
• Possess basic knowledge of client-server architecture
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and initiative skills
• Communicate effectively in English
• Have knowledge of online gaming
• Have basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), which is an advantage
• Are familiar with SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Can troubleshoot basic network issues and are comfortable with basic UNIX commands
• Understand Agile/Scrum development processes
• Have a basic understanding of Selenium

• 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Experience in online gaming
• Desire to develop automation skills
• Basic knowledge in C#
