Junior QA Engineer (World of Warships, PC, LiveOps Team)

 Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а Junior QA Engineer to work on the LiveOps Team of World of Warships game in our brand-new Belgrade office.

World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.

The LiveOps Team has a goal to manage and operate the game as a live service. We continually deliver meta-content updates, promotions, revenue, and activity-driven in-game events and improvements to the launched game to enhance the experience for the player community.

What will you do?

• Test and verify items in the Premium Shop across multiple platforms

• Create and maintain test plans and test cases

• Document testing results and report defects

• Work with version control systems and bug trackers

• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues

• Support continuous integration processes and participating in the releases

• Collaborate with other teams: Monetization, 2D, Platforms and Development

What are we looking for?

• Experience as a QA Engineer

• Understanding of testing fundamentals and experience with test plans and test cases

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small errors

• Experience with GitSvn

• Experience with Atlassian software

• Ability to provide feedback in a constructive and timely manner

• Proficiency in working within a team and communicating effectively with colleagues

• Advanced Russian

• Intermediate English level or higher

• Readiness for full-time office work

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Understanding the basic principles of programming (Python, C#, C++, HTML, etc.)

• Experience with test automation

• Experience in game development

• Gaming experience and passion for games

Work mode

Onsite, during the probation period, after the probation it is hybrid working mode (3 days of work from the office).
