POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions within our financial services environment. You will leverage your understanding of the Microsoft technology stack to drive innovation and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development & Implementation:Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code using .NET, C#, Angular, Entity Framework, and other relevant technologies.
• Cloud Integration:Leverage Azure cloud services to enhance application scalability, performance, and security.
• Database Management:Design and manage efficient database structures using SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Code Quality:Implement code according to our standards and best practices through code reviews and automated testing.
• Problem Solving:Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to provide estimates and ensure successful project delivery.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

COMPENSATION
O’Brien-Staley Partners compensation will be comprised of a base salary and bonus, with the variable pay typically being a material proportion of total compensation. OSP’s existing variable remuneration scheme ties individuals’ rewards closely to the overall firm performance, to maintain the collegial working environment. Equity participation will be made available for qualified candidates biennially, after at least one full fiscal year with the firm.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
