Cecconi’s Bicester

Enzo Cecconi, the youngest-ever general manager of hotel Cipriani in Venice, opened Cecconi’s in London’s Mayfair in 1978. It became part of the Soho House family in 2004 and in 2022 we opened in Bicester Village, the first Cecconi’s outside of London. Serving handmade artisanal pizzas, fresh seafood, seasonal dishes and cicchetti.

The Role… 

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team at Cecconi's Bicester (OX26 4WD). As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for cleanliness.

What we are looking for in a Kitchen Porter...

• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile restaurant (preferred but not essential)
• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency
• Yes, yes, yes mentality
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required

Expected working hours for a Kitchen Porter:

• Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes 
• Average hours 32-45 hours per week 

Transport: 9 min walk from Bicester Town Centre, local train stations - Bicester North & Bicester Village (direct from Oxford & Banbury)
