Job Description

Lochwood-Lozier Custom Homes is seeking aLandscape Project Manager / Assistant to the Landscape Managerto help manage our high-end residential landscape projects. This role combinesproject coordination, crew management, client communication, and administrative supportto ensure that every landscape we deliver meets the company’s exceptional standards for quality and service. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in the field and the office — able to communicate professionally with clients, organize multiple active projects, and use technology effectively to keep information flowing and projects on track. Responsibilities • Support the Landscape Manager with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing active landscape projects and landscape maintenance. • Coordinate daily work for landscape crews, ensuring projects run efficiently and safely. • Make sure safety protocols are in place on sites and are being followed. • Communicate regularly with clients — providing updates, confirming details, and maintaining Lochwood-Lozier’s reputation for professionalism and responsiveness. • Prepare estimates, proposals, work orders, and project documentation with accuracy and clarity. • Track project budgets, materials, and schedules using digital tools and project management software. • Monitor project quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail on job sites. • Assist with hiring, training, and developing field staff as the division continues to grow. • Contribute to process improvements, organization, and systems within the Landscape Division. Qualifications • 10 years’ experience inlandscape construction, project management, and landscape management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills — professional, clear, and client-focused. • Proficiency with technology and software such asMicrosoft Office, project management tools, and design software. • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and follow-through. • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of landscape materials, construction methods, and field operations. • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active project sites as needed.
