WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Lennox Industries is a manufacturer and distributor of equipment within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. We are guided by our core values of Integrity, Respect, and Excellence. We have an immediate opening for a Digital Business Analyst IV (Lead). The Digital Business Analyst (DBA) works to (1) support the launch of strategic ecommerce and DX programs (2) build and maintain repository of requirements and process flow documentation (3) work with business representatives and subject matter experts in the development of requirements documentation, data scenarios and building process excellence for eCommerce and Digital Marketing programs and projects.

As a Digital Business Analyst III (Sr.), you will need to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous and constantly evolving environment, have a natural analytical way of thinking, and be able to communicate difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Cross-Functional

  • Work with cross-functional team members to understand end to end processes, system requirements, document and recommend improvements to support upcoming strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customers in collecting feedback data and logging them to support product enhancements, process mapping and process improvement.
  • Lead teams to document functional & non-functional requirements utilizing various business requirement elicitation techniques. Collect, analyze, refine, prioritize, and develop these requirements ensuring alignment with business strategy

Strategy

  • Have a good understanding of marketing technologies and customer experience and assist the team in honing the digital strategy to support the objectives of business segments, markets, and brands.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal Lennox teams to understand market problems, identify new opportunities, and improve our customer experience.
  • Break down medium to complex roadmap objectives into smaller projects, initiatives, or features.

Execution

  • Define detailed requirements (functional & non-functional), with use case analysis, and validate solutions with the product owners.
  • Maintenance of product documentation including use cases, with detailed configuration and design specifications.
  • Document as-is and to-be process models using swimlanes identifying aspects of requirements understanding, business process flows, and functional gaps needed to accomplish the desired acceptance criteria.
  • Support the Product backlog grooming activities by managing requirements, enhancements, change requests, production defects and tasks.
  • Recommend improvements to support & optimize processes and execution of tasks and support Lennox leadership with training/coaching continuous improvement principles.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • Help develop training materials and process improvements.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $111,200 - $145,950 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A BS or MS in Computer Science or MIS is preferred.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Proven Business Analyst experience working with packaged eCommerce or CMS platforms at an agency and/or client-side for large, matrixed marketing organizations.
  • As a member of the Digital Marketing team, data-driven planning and reporting will be critical to success.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively translate and communicate technical information to internal and external customers or vendors (non-technical audience).
  • Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and an understanding of different technologies.
  • Ability to think ahead to forecast issues and market changes and resolve challenges with the business, teams, vendors, partners, and Product Managers.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies processes and application development lifecycle.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Experience with PaaS, SaaS, DaaS platforms is a plus.
