Company Benefits: - Competitive Pay (includingPrevailing Wageopportunities) - Lead - Paid Medical Benefits - Dental & Vision Benefits - Short Term Disability - Long Term Disability - Life Insurance - 401k - Paid Time Off - Sick Pay Job Qualifications: - Effectively install all the lines of systems furniture product and can properly install other commercial office furniture without supervision. - Performs all needed tasks to complete the job on site including lifting/carrying all materials to the job site (stair carries as needed). - Effectively works with installation packages (including blue prints, elevations, typicals and specifications). - Properly installs all forms of wall attachments (white boards/tack boards, Egan boards, wall mounts, wall track, horizontal over heads etc). - Improvises (make it work) and resolves problems that emerge in the installation. - Provides leadership for installation teams on projects with significant difficulty. - Constantly brings projects in on-time and under budget. - Oversees and provides directions for projects of all sizes and complexity including directing the work of up to 20+ installers. - Acts as mentor and developer of lower-level install staff and Provides training for non-JEi installers (temps/contractors) in the correct methods for installing systems furniture. - Monitors the work of installers to ensure proper installation, maintains a clean work environment and ensures proper safety requirements are followed. - Performs extensive projects preplanning including planning work flow and staging, determining manpower and equipment requirements. - Develops contingency plans for large projects. - Ensures all work at the job site is performed to JEi standards including safety requirements. - Effectively interacts with customers, trades, coworkers, subs, and temps. - Resolves conflicts within the JEi work team. - Occasional weekend and evening work may be required. - Work site locations vary daily within but not limited to the San Jose/ Bay Area - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Able to lift 50lbs and carry or more. - Must have reliable transportation. - Background check required upon hire.
