Job Description

We are actively seeking highly motivated, self-driven Lead/Senior Lead/Principal Software Engineer to become integral members of the IFS R&D Experience Framework team.

In this role, you will become an essential part of a proficient team responsible for developing an Angular-based web application framework. This framework serves as a centralized tool for various IFS product development teams, partners, and customers, enabling them to create, expand, and tailor various product features. As a member of the framework team, your contributions will play a pivotal role in the overall success of our organization, directly impacting the work of developers across our product development division.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the software development team.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintainability.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their professional growth and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluate third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools for their suitability and compatibility with the development environment.
• Oversee the maintenance and refactoring of the codebase to improve code quality, modularity, and maintainability.
• Implement security best practices to protect the framework against vulnerabilities and threats, working with cybersecurity experts when necessary.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues in the application, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-sharing resources.

Qualifications

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 5+ years' experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software.
• Pro-active, take initiative and responsibility. 
• A natural desire to discover and learn new technologies and processes
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• In-depth Experience in Oracle PL/SQL and familiarity of IFS Base Server
• Interest in IFS Configurations area such as Entity Configurations, Projection Configurations etc.,
• ​​​​​Knowledge of version control systems like GIT/Bitbucket.
