Job Title: Lead Solution Architect

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and deploy the application in the client environment, design screens for the application approved by the client and responsible for writing SQL Server queries based on knowledge

of data warehousing concepts. Work with ETL tools like Informatica, design and develop mappings, and test mappings to validate data load to the data staging and data warehouse.

Design and customize reports in SQL Server Reporting Services, work on functional and technical specification for the project, and responsible for preparing the unit and functional test

cases. Work on PL/SQL procedures and scripts, test mappings; responsible for test case documents preparation, and executing test cases. Lead the offshore team on SQL Server

Analysis Services. Train the offshore team on Business Intelligence tools such as SQL Server Analysis Services. Responsible for testing data load to the data staging and data warehouse

using SQL queries and reviewing the Multidimensional (MDX) queries for the Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cubes. Responsible for gathering and understanding requirements from

client, preparing the data models using ERWIN Data Modeler tool; analyze new enhancements and develop ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services. Responsible for developing Business Objects reports and creating SQL Server stored procedures using SQL Server Management Services. Perform proof of concepts with Snowflake Data Warehouse tools. Gather stats from the proof of concepts and provide customers with the options towards software implementation. Use ETL/ELT tools like Snaplogic to load data from various source like Postgres and build a data warehouse in Snowflake. Administrate Snowflake environments in terms of creating and maintaining Databases. Schemas, Warehouse, Roles etc.; Scale up/Scale Down Snowflake data warehouses based on usage. Create new dimensional models using ERWIN data modeler tool for the project after analyzing the existing data models. Review and prepare design documents using Microsoft Office tools like Microsoft Word, provide estimates for completion of work. Create project related work resource and effort estimates using Microsoft Excel. Architect solutions using Snowflake to perform housekeeping of data in across platforms; ensure compliance to solution architectural design in the implementation of projects. Create dashboard for higher management using Snowsight and share the usage and billing details for Snowflake Warehouses.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus 2 years of experience. In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience to include working on SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS); Microsoft SQL Server; Informatica; SQL Server Analysis Services(SSAS); SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS); SQL Server Management Services(SSMS); Multidimensional Queries(MDX); Online Analytical Processing (OLAP); ERWIN Data Modeler; PL/SQL procedures; Business Objects.

HOURS: M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

JOB LOCATION: Dallas, Texas. Travel is not required, but candidates must be willing to relocate to unanticipated locations across the country per contract demand.
