Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for aMachine Operatorto join their team inCarson, CA. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery while ensuring production meets quality standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret job specifications, purchase orders, and drawings to determine machine adjustments and material requirements • Set up machines and perform job runs according to instructions and specifications • Operate equipment to cut, mark, or process parts, ensuring accuracy and clarity • Perform inspections to ensure output meets or exceeds customer requirements • Use measuring tools such as rulers, scales, and calipers for precision • Perform machine maintenance tasks such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces • Utilize computers for label creation and timekeeping • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Requirements: • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English • Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (including decimals) • Experience with measuring tools (ruler, scale, calipers) • Prior machine operation experience preferred • Strong attention to detail and safe work habits • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately Pay & Schedule: • Pay:$20.00 – $25.00 • Schedule:Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM start time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: • Health insurance Work Location: In person
