We are a Food company, hiring for Machine Operators in the city of Vernon, CA!
*Must have Machine Operator experience*

● 1st Shift : 5:00am - 1:30pm
● 2nd shift: 1:15pm - 10:00pm
Pay rate:
● Vernon: $18.00
The Yutaka operator is responsible for inspecting, operating and supervising the machinery and equipment on the production line to ensure an efficient flow of production. You must report any machinery insecurity to the Supervisor immediately. Never operate machinery in unsafe conditions or without safety guards. The position involves monitoring processes, making adjustments as needed following manufacturing specifications, maintaining quality and safety standards at all times. Receive staff and assign tasks. They shall ensure that they provide adequate training for each person assigned to work under their supervision.
Below are some of the duties for the Yutakas Operator position.
I. Daily Responsibilities:
1. Check the production schedule before starting the shift to ensure that the production to be carried out is adequate, following all product specifications.
2. Verify that the Operators of the mixers are present at the beginning of the shift and have the appropriate documentation, materials and tools for the planned production. If not, notify the supervisor or line leader and implement appropriate actions.
3. Carry out a review of the machines to verify that they are in appropriate conditions to carry out production. Among the appropriate conditions, you must verify that no machine is blocked by emergency buttons or Tagout devices, If they are blocked, you must notify the supervisor to evaluate the reasons why the machine is blocked and also check that the machine is clean, with guards and safety devices on, Without any object foreign to the machine that may cause any safety or mechanical risk, and that all emergency buttons work correctly.
4. Verify that the machine settings are appropriate before starting production. Thickness of the rollers, speeds of the belts or folding table, parameters, size and shape of the blades.
5. Receive the employees of the line and verify that everyone is present, Give instructions on which product is going to be made and assign pending activities to begin production. Among these activities is bringing appropriate recipe cards to the line, placing the starch on the lines, bringing any available cart closer to place the wrappers, connecting and turning on the scales of the lines, cleaning areas that require it and others that are necessary and/or assigned.
6. Make sure that employees comply with all the conditions of good clothing and personal cleanliness, in addition to the personal protection elements, if they do not have them, they must notify the Supervisor or line leader about this so that the pertinent actions can be taken.
7. Start production on time, once the above conditions are met.
8. At the beginning and during production, verify that all product specifications are met, including shape, weight, thickness, etc. should be taken in the first table to verify that it is among the correct specifications, the color of the product, that the product has enough starch (if not, adjust the Duster) and others that are critical for the expected quality.
9. During production, make sure that all areas are clean, that personnel are performing assigned functions, and following all safety guidelines.
10. It is the operator's responsibility to properly complete and timely deliver production reports and other assigned forms. The inspection form must be completed at the beginning of each shift. Use of iPads to complete the form is required.
11. Follow the guidelines given by the supervisor and/or line leader, and transmit them to the rest of the staff.
12. Follow safety and Lockout Tagout procedures appropriately by: Cleaning, repairing, preparing, and adjusting.
13. The operator is able to request any work tools that he deems necessary for his good performance, including pens, clip boards, and tools for basic mechanics.
14. Under no circumstances are you allowed to take photos, carry documents outside the plant and cell phones are not allowed in the production areas unless it is one assigned by the company.

1. Standing or walking for long periods of time.
2. It will possibly require climbing, walking, lifting, bending, carrying, and stretching.
3. Must be able to move in tight spaces
4. Must be able to understand and read machinery, indicators, and formulas.
5. Must be able to write and understand reports
6. Must be able to receive and understand instructions.
7. It must not lift more than 50 lbs.
IV. Requirements
1. High School Diploma or Previous Experience in a Similar Production or Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)
2. Bilingual – English and Spanish (Preferred)
3. Basic knowledge of computer equipment including electronic devices, Ext. iPad, tablet and digital computer displays. (Preferred)
4. Basic knowledge of production machinery and industrial processes.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedures
6. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
7. Good communication and teamwork skills.
8. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
9. Availability to work in different shifts. If necessary.
10. Availability to work weekends.

I. Daily Responsibilities
1. Check the production schedule before starting the shift to ensure that there is no change in the Schedule
2. Verify that packaging elements are appropriate compared to production manufactures, including film, and boxes
3. Perform daily inspection of packaging lines and notify superiors of any issues that may affect production or product
4. Start packing lines on time, as long as the lines are in optimal operating condition
5. Verify that the parameters of the packaging lines are appropriate for the product being produced, including speeds, cuts, temperature
6. Comply with and execute the activities indicated by their superiors, as long as the activities indicated do not represent a risk to the safety of personnel or the product
7. Record the appropriate information in production and other documents assigned to you including Materials Used, Batches, Quantities Used, Downtime, Waste, and Quantities Produced on iPads
8. Instruct regular staff in accordance with the guidelines assigned to them by the Supervisor or line leader to coordinate
9. Have continuous communication with their superiors, report any material that is necessary and is not in the plant
10. It is the Operator's duty to have the production report on time (within the first 3 hours of product production) and in a visible area for verification by the quality control (QC) team.
11. Check that there is enough availability of racks, space in the blast freezer, freezer, blast cooler to produce
12. Verify that date codes such as Reverse Julian Calendar, Julian Calendar, Best by, use by, or others are appropriate compared to production manufactures
13. The Tiromat Operator is able to request any Work Tools that he deems necessary for his good performance, including pens, clip boards, and tools for basic mechanics
14. Under no circumstances are you allowed to take photos, carry documents outside the plant and cell phones are not allowed in the production areas unless it is one assigned by the company or you have prior written authorization from the plant manager
