Machinist (Manual Mill and CNC Mill)

Seeking an experienced and skilledMachinistto operate manual and CNC mills, produce high-quality parts, and maintain a safe and efficient shop environment. Responsibilities: • Operate manual and CNC mills to produce precision parts • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • Set up and operate machine tools, including manual and CNC mills • Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols • Collaborate with other machinists and production team members to meet production goals • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine tools and production processes Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a machinist, with a focus on manual and CNC milling • Strong understanding of machine shop practices and safety procedures • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • Proficient in operating manual and CNC mills, including setup and programming • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications: • CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM software) • Experience with milling operations, including facing, turning, and boring • Familiarity with inspection equipment • Certification in machining or a related field (e.g. CNC Machinist, Machinist Certification) What We Offer: • Competitive wage • Company paid medical plan • Paid vacation and holidays • Profit sharing plan How to Apply: If you are a skilled and experienced machinist looking for a challenging opportunity, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
