This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues. • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate logs and reports. • Install and maintain machinery, physical structures, and simple electrical systems. • Troubleshoot and repair automated systems, including robotic and computer-controlled devices. • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. • Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency. • Follow all safety protocols and GMP standards. Qualifications • Associate degreein automation technology or mechatronics preferred. • Minimum3 years of experienceas an industrial maintenance electrician. • Strong knowledge of PLCs, electrical circuits, and automation systems. • Ability to read motor nameplates, wire motors, and use diagnostic tools (volt meter, amp probe, etc.). • Experience with welding, soldering, and mechanical repairs. • Must be certified as anIndustrial Light Vehicle Operator(e.g., forklift). • Strong math, computer, and communication skills. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. • Must be able to bend, reach, push/pull heavy equipment, and work in varying temperatures (sub-0° to 85°F). • Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity required.
