Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical maintenance and industrial mechanics, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical systems. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations, while also providing excellent customer service to internal teams. Duties • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic • Experience with Electrical systems • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. • Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks at heights. • Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics and analysis. • Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for repairs or modifications. • Read and interpret schematics to facilitate troubleshooting and repair processes. • Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on electrical system improvements or upgrades. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. • Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues effectively. • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. • Military experience is considered an asset but not required. • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service within the organization.
