What you'll do
The Ad Ops Incident Specialist leads incident management for the Ad Operations, Ads Engineering, Sales, and Product teams under WMC and the Merchant and Site teams for the eCommerce org. This role handles triage and escalation of technical and operational incidents that have a critical impact on revenue related to WMC ad products. Associates in this role are comfortable gathering, organizing, and communicating information in fast-paced incident scenarios and can activate and support product and engineering teams to resolve issues while keeping stakeholders informed on incident status and available workarounds.
Responsibilities Include

• Perform triage and escalation of high priority issues related to Walmart Connect ad products and eCommerce technology.
• Ensure escalations follow official processes with proper documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Communicate issue details and response status to stakeholders including executive leadership.
• Maintain a deep understanding of all technical touchpoints including ad products, site operations, and third-party partners.
• Monitor daily operations channels for potential incidents and proactively initiate escalation process when necessary or redirect lower priority issues to appropriate support teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and improve escalation processes and communication plans.
• Support Technical Operations team with issue investigation and special projects related to support process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Campaign Management, Ads Platform Support
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in digital ad server technology (Google Ad Manager preferred)
• Background in using Third-Party tags for impression, viewability, and IVT tracking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for digital media and advertising technology
• Attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box
• Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open environment
• Ability to quickly learn technical information
• Understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ad units

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Campaign Management, Ads Platform Support
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in digital ad server technology (Google Ad Manager preferred)
• Hands-on experience debugging network calls (eg Charles, Chrome Dev tools)
• Some exposure to a programming language
• Background in using Third-Party tags for impression, viewability, and IVT tracking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for digital media and advertising technology
• Attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box
• Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open environment
• Ability to quickly learn technical information
• Deep understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ad units
• Strong Excel / data analysis skills
