Your Role and Responsibilities
What does Master@IBM offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-3 year Master@IBM program we offer valuable professional experience in the area of a sales and technical department which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the master study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and three years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your master’s degree. Nevertheless you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You will also write your master’s thesis in collaboration with your department.

Who are we looking for?
For our in-job master’s program we are looking for highly-motivated students from computer science / business information systems economy or similar based degree courses. In addition to a good bachelor’s degree an independent approach to work is also important to us. Are you action-oriented highly motivated and you have analytical skills? What can you expect from this position?
You will work as a brand sales specialist at the IBM Automation team within the IBM Technology unit. As a member of our sales team in Geneva you will support the opportunity identification positioning demonstrating scoping of our Automation portfolio as well as supporting the team during the sales cycle and in Marketing campaigns. Additionally you will assist our Pre-Sales team with your technical expertise.

Requirements:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science/business information systems economy or similar
• You have experience in supporting Marketing campaigns
• You have basic experience with cloud technologies such as container and Kubernetes
• If you have basic experience with one or more programming/scripting languages such as Python Java JavaScript shell script etc. it is a plus
• You master the French and English language in spoken and written German is a plus

This job is only for candidates who will have finished their Bachelor studies by September 2024 (or earlier) and plan to start with a Master’s Degree in autumn 2024 (Swiss university/university of applied sciences study course of your choice).
