Mechanical Pigging Assistant

Decoking Descaling Technology Inc.(DDT) is looking for full pigging technicians assistants for its Gulf Coast Operations unit in Houston, TX. The right candidate will be trained as a decoking operator and must operate decoking pumpers in refineries throughout the US. The candidate will also work as part of a crew maintaining our specialized decoking equipment. Position Overview: The Pigging Techniciant assistant is responsible for assisting our Operator in executing D.D.T. projects and understanding our patented pigging process by ensuring that pigging jobs comply with clients' needs guaranteeing the quality of the service. It will work on our equipment setup process at Refineries and follow instructions to build the tools needed for the pigging process. On-Site Duties DDT inc. Operates throughout the US. The right candidate will be willing to travel for short periods of time within short notices to various job sites as a trained decoking operator. Will operate decoking equipment as part of a team on 12-hour rotating shifts. Job Requirements Responsibilities, Skills, Experience, and Requirements • Must be fluent in verbal and written English • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers • Ability to work effectively in a refinery environment • Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures • Ability to follow company operating procedures • Some mechanical abilities would be ideal • TWIC cardeligibility is essential • The successful candidate must pass a drug screening & background check Place of employment All shop maintenance work and job preparation will be in DDT’s South Houston, TX location near Hobby Airport. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and attend site operations anywhere in the United States. Site operations normally do not exceed 1 to 2 weeks.
